pleas, we r alredy dum enuf

A group of small activists gathered outside the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C to protest our so called nonsensical American spelling this past friday. They think that American spelling is too hard and "want to spell what they mean and mean what they spell," if that even makes sense. For example, "you" would be spelled "yoo" or "enough" would be "enuf" and "fruit" would be "froot". Haha really? I think the education of monkey's would become harder than in American pre-schools if we started this. It's like text messaging but in human form, sooner or later (or i should say "l8r"), we are all going to write one letter words or just have codes instead. And they're doing it in front of a National Spelling Bee because they want to make spelling bee's easier? Then what is the point of a spelling bee? American English is a mix of other languages like Latin, Germanic, and Romanian ...right? I think this is what makes our language so great! Language is an art, art is beauty and of course art is not easy. Do people really want to throw away the history of our language and destroy the beauty of it just because it is a little to hard to spell? I guess so. And the funniest part is that most of these protest-ers are not foreigners trying to learn English but they are American's whose native tongue is ENGLISH!

Karma nuts

my mom came home from another business trip and this time brought back a ton of nature? It was like she brought back the earth, her bag was filled with natural vegan looking snacks that matched the colors of the woods behind our house. Now im not a big fruit and mixed nut type person more or less vegan but, I can't complain, it all looked pretty cool. One funny thing is that none of the stuff was American but was either German, Turkish, or Japanese. Random I know right? Well one of the snacks I tried were these Karma nuts made by the Turkish company Malatya Pazari. I can't really tell you much about this company except that they have a lot of good critics scrolling down on the side of their website; I actually finished the whole bag in one sitting without complaining! (Yea i really don't like most mixed fruit and nut things) It was really good! So if you ever see these get them! Im sure they're not just sold in Turkey but also your international grocery store? Maybe if you eat them good Karma will follow! ;)
